3 Reasons Why Private Relationship Is The Best

Not everyone deserves to know you and your secrets. And certainly not all friends are good enough to know about the details of what goes on in your relationship.
Having a support system is great, and having trusted people to confide in is just amazing, too; but no matter how small your circle is, or how much you trust them, some details of your relationship need to remain between you and just your partner.

Here are three reasons why:

1. Enables Strong Relationship:
By hoarding the most private information and details of your marriage, you become obliged to work out differences without external assistance or influence.
Being able to move away from the rough patches of your relationship on your won is great for your relationship because you are reaching decisions based on your personal understanding of your relationship, not from someone else's perspective of what is right for you or not.
This is the best way to be in a relationship, except when it becomes unreasonable to not seek assistance from trusted sources.

2. Kills Bad Advice:
By keeping the essence of your relationship out of circulation, you actually leave no room for people to pass judgements and give unsolicited advice on how things should be between you and your partner.

3. No Much Pressure
If you are keeping your relationship between just you and your partner, you are not getting external, irrelevant advice on where you and your partner should be, and what you should be doing as a couple.
This reduces the pressure and you can both move the relationship at a pace that suits both partners.

I want you to know that if details of your relationship is being kept on a really low key, you are on the right path.

Minister Of Finance: Okonjo-Iweala Says "My Memo Caused N1.7tn Revenue Loss", See Reason Why She Said That..

The Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Alleged Misuse, Under-Remittance and Other Fraudulent Activities has said revenue agencies short-changed the Federal Government to the tune of N1.7tn as unremitted revenue generated between 2012 and 2016.

The panel blamed it on a memo by a former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who allegedly issued the memo to the agencies to remit 25 per cent of revenue they generated to the Federal Government and spend 75 per cent on their expenditures.

CONGRATS! Lionel Messi Weds Childhood Sweetheart, See Some Amazing Photos

Lionel Messi said “I do” to childhood sweetheart and mother of their two children Antonella Roccuzzo on Friday in his Argentine hometown Rosario, where footballers and celebrities gathered for the “wedding of the century.”

Following the private ceremony, the couple appeared happy and relaxed as they walked a red carpet before hundreds of journalists at a hotel and casino complex, Roccuzzo donning a tight, mermaid-style gown by Spanish designer Rosa Clara.

The couple’s children Thiago, four, and Mateo, one, had front seats at the ceremony attended by some 260 guests, including Shakira and her husband, Messi’s teammate Gerard Pique, and numerous footballers such as Messi’s Barcelona strike partners Neymar and Luis Suarez.

Argentine media called it the “wedding of the century” for Rosario, the gritty northern port city where Messi, 30, and his bride, 29, met when the player was nine years old.

Former Barca and current Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas was in attendance, along with Argentina and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.

Roast gizzards
The party was to be a respite for Messi from his legal woes. A Spanish court last month rejected his appeal against a tax fraud conviction.

Brunette bride Roccuzzo wore a white, curve-hugging dress with a deep sweetheart neckline and embroidered straps by Rosa Clara — a Spanish designer who has dressed actress Eva Longoria and Spain’s Queen Letizia.

The wedding was held at 2200 GMT in the City Center casino, which stands right next to a crime-ridden slum run by drug gangs.

The civil wedding ceremony and party were all slated to take place inside the venue, and the guests will be lodged there too.

The feast will reportedly feature Argentine delicacies such as roast gizzards.

Uruguayan pop bands Rombai and Marama plus singer Karina, Aguero’s wife, will perform at the reception.

There were also rumors that there would be singing by Shakira, the Colombian diva famous for “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Whenever, Wherever.”

Shakira had recently denied rumors that she would miss the wedding due to a quarrel with Roccuzzo.

Humble couple
Messi and Roccuzzo live in Barcelona where he plays, but still return regularly to Rosario for vacations.

He moved to Spain when he was 13 to join FC Barcelona, but the couple kept in touch.

Messi has gone on to win the top Ballon d’Or award five times and is widely regarded as the world’s best footballer.

But various old friends of the couple in their home city said the bride and groom are humble folk who have never forgotten where they come from.

“They are the love of each other’s lives,” Messi’s childhood friend Diego Vallejos told AFP.

Instead of wedding presents, they have asked for donations to a children’s charity.

USA President: Donald Trump Asks Supreme Court To Reinstate Muslim Travel Ban

President Donald Trump’s administration asked the US Supreme Court on Thursday to reinstate its temporary ban on travellers from six Muslim majority nations despite repeated setbacks in the lower courts.

In its filing, the government asked the top US court to rule on the legal standing of Trump’s order, appealing a ruling by the federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals that upheld a nationwide block of the travel ban.

It also asked the Supreme Court to lift another US-wide injunction issued by a federal judge in a separate case based in Hawaii. That case is currently before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, where a decision is pending.

The administration is “confident that President Trump’s executive order is well within his lawful authority to keep the nation safe and protect our communities from terrorism,” Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores said.

“The president is not required to admit people from countries that sponsor or shelter terrorism until he determines that they can be properly vetted and do not pose a security risk to the United States.”

The filing came one week after the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling dealt a fresh blow to Trump’s efforts to push the controversial travel ban that has triggered mass protests and confusion at airports.

The Fourth Circuit said it “remained unconvinced” that the part of the measure naming the specific countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen — had “more to do with national security than it does with effectuating the president’s promised Muslim ban.”

– “Indisputably high” stakes –

It said it was unclear whether the government’s security concerns outweighed the plaintiffs’ concerns about discrimination.

The government’s filing acknowledged that stakes “are indisputably high.”

The Court of Appeals “concluded that the president acted in bad faith with religious animus when, after consulting with three members of his cabinet, he placed a brief pause on entry from six countries that present heightened risks of terrorism,” the filing read.

That court’s decision “creates uncertainty about the president’s authority to meet those threats as the Constitution and acts of Congress empower and obligate him to do.”

Even if the Supreme Court takes the case, it is unlikely to hear it this term, which is due to end this month.

Trump issued his initial travel ban by executive order in January, but that measure — which banned entry to nationals from seven countries for 90 days and suspended the nation’s refugee program for 120 days — was quickly halted by the courts.

The administration said the travel ban was needed so it could evaluate existing screening methods protocols and set new ones.

A revised executive order in March meant to address concerns raised by the federal judges. It deleted Iraq from the list and removed an indefinite ban on Syrian refugees.

The order, however, was widely criticised, including by human rights activists and US states led by Democrats.

Federal judges in Maryland and Hawaii issued a nationwide block on the measure, sending the issue to the relevant appellate courts.

Given the case’s high-profile nature, the full Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Virginia heard the arguments last week — bypassing the usual initial three-judge panel — for the first time in a quarter of a century.

Thirteen of the court’s 15 active judges took part. Two recused themselves over potential conflicts of interest.

5 Most Common Lies People Tell On First Dates

Everyone tells at least, little harmless lies every once in a while and this somehow seeps into the dating culture.

When people meet on first dates, it is quite common for one or both of them to sneak in one or two harmless lies in their conversation either to sound funnier, to protect some of their privacy, or to just cast themselves in a better light in front of the person they are on that date with.

These lies don’t even help that much. According to Dr. Helen Fisher, an American scientist “those who tell white lies are no more likely to get a second date; no more likely to have gone on a date in the last year; and no more likely to have had sex.”

In order words, no matter the lies you infuse while on a first date, they probably do nothing to help your game.

Regardless of this, people still go on dates and drop several [innocent, harmless] lies, and below is five of the most common ones everyone can probably relate with.

1. Sexual history
If the conversation ever gets there, people tend to skew the numbers of people they've slept with. Some increase the number, others reduce it, depending on what they think will appeal to the person they’re on a date with.

2. Dating history

The same logic that applies when talking about sexual history applies here too.

3. Finances

People try to downplay how much they earn so as not to spend too much or to judge whether their date partners are moved by wealth and lack of it.

Some lie that they earn more than they actually do.

4. Address

People often tell little lies about their exact addresses for security reasons and this can’t be condemned.

Some form of caution is necessary when meeting a stranger for the first time. Safety first.

5. Interests

People also lie about the things they love to do for fun.

People also lie about being married, having kids and other things that could reduce or cancel their chances of getting the person they went on a date with.

One Thing That Makes Fighting Wrong In A Relationship

You can't apologise for saying terribly hurtful things and expect them to just go away like that, this is very bad...
Fighting in a relationship is not in itself a bad thing.

It is believed that if couples are completely open to each other at all times, there's bound to be moments of differences and disagreements and this is just fine.

But when does fighting become wrong and when do you cross from healthy disagreement to the unacceptable unhealthy forms of fighting?

According to John Gray, the first African-American associate pastor at Joel Osteen’s Houston megachurch, one particular sign that your fights are unhealthy is “when you purposefully go out of bounds to harm the other individual with your words.”

Using his own marriage as an example, the minister says: "when I’m hurt, I use my words to convey my pain, and there have been many times when my words were out of bounds because I knew that if I said this, it would hurt [my wife].”
“I wanted my wife to feel the pain that I was experiencing in that moment.”

Most times when couples do this, they would later apologise for those hurtful words “but it’s like shooting somebody in the thigh and then saying, ‘Can you forgive me right now?’”
What makes the fights in your relationship/marriage wrong is the way you go about it, the words you let out without thinking about their repercussions.
As Pastor John Gray says, “you’ve got to put boundaries around your disagreements.”
You can't apologise for saying terribly hurtful things and expect them to just go away like that

Why Cahill Will Miss The FA Cup Semi-Final...

Cahill to miss semi-final after kidney stone treatment. Cahill was admitted to hospital on Tuesday after training and the England centre-back had tests and treatment.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed Gary Cahill is set to miss Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham after being treated for a small stone in his kidney.

Cahill was admitted to hospital on Tuesday after training and the England centre-back had tests and treatment before being released on Thursday.

With the Premier League leaders due to play their London rivals at Wembley this weekend, Conte fears it is too soon for the England international to return to action.

"He arrived at the training ground with a bit of fever," Conte told reporters on Friday.

"Our doctor preferred to bring him to the hospital and to check his condition.

"Not a serious problem, but now Gary is getting better and is improving a lot.

"If you ask me for tomorrow, my answer is it is very difficult. This period is not a lucky period for us."

Tottenham are four points behind the Blues at the Premier League summit with six games remaining after Chelsea's loss at Manchester United last Sunday.

Although Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino insists his side will be underdogs on Saturday, Conte tried to put some pressure back on the north Londoners by claiming it's time for them to shed their underdog status.

"Tottenham now is a really great power in English football," Conte said.

"There is a moment you have to finish considering yourself an underdog. I think this is the right moment.

"This is the third year for them (under Pochettino).

"Tottenham is a great team. They're showing for the second consecutive year to fight for the title."
